SOFTWARE TRANSLATION – priint:suite

PRIINT:SUITE is a solution that automates the production and layout of documents, based on Adobe InDesign. It is composed of different modules and applications.


SCOPE

• Translation from English to French:
  • priint:suite Main Application
    • Desktop Application
    • Plugins for all the different connectors
      • InDesign plugin — priint:comet
  • priint:briefing – Web Application
  • priint:whiteboard – Web Application
  • priint:suite Online help

SOLUTION

• All technical translations are carried out by technical translators who understand specific PRINT, publishing, PIM, and, InDesign terminology.
• French syntax was a challenge because of the UI.
• Taking care of the UX was really important

RESULTS

Since this project was a specialized technical product, we assigned translators who were experts in software and layout systems. After about 1 month, we delivered the project to the customer.
